Tx/Rx System
Background Info.
There are many different options available for different tx/rx (tranceiver/receiver) systems that relay information between yourself and the quadcopter. Discussed below is one example of a relatively inexpensive system that is great value for money.
Channels
The number of channels on a system indicates how many features a system has. So for example a 2 channel system might have an option for throttle and steer only while a 9 channel system like discussed below will have many more options
like pitch and yaw and trim etc.
Mode
There are two different types of modes for tranceivers. Mode 1 has a the throttle on the right hand side of the receiver and mode 1 simply has it on the left.

Purchases of any other rebranded version of the TURNIGY 9X will not have the latest firmware and patches (even the OEM factory does not have these updates).
NOTE: "SWITCH ERROR" means you have one of the switches in the wrong position when you turn the radio on. It is not a fault.
